General Information

  • Asiana Club is the Frequent Flyer Program offered by Asiana Airlines, and is based on Asiana Club Miles. If you are a member of Asiana Club, you will accumulate Asiana Club Miles whenever you fly with Asiana Airlines or one of our partners, and the miles you accumulate can be used for Flight Awards.

Membership Program

  • Upon joining Asiana Club, you will become a Silver member (general member) and you will be upgraded to Gold, Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Platinum Membership according to the number of flights taken and Asiana Affiliate Card records.
    More benefits are offered at the higher membership levels.
Silver
  • If you join Asiana Club, you gain the status of Silver Membership. If you board flights of Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance or use the services of one of our partners, including credit card companies, hotels and car rental, you may earn miles.
  • Elite Membership Benefits
Terms and Conditions of Membership Agreement
  • Anyone may join Asiana Club.
    Children under the age of 12 are registered as Magic Miles Member, and this status is automatically changed to Silver Membership status when the child turns 12.
Benefits for
Silver Members
  • Accumulated miles can be used for bonus ticket purchases and seat upgrades.
  • Diverse benefits can be used and miles can be accumulated through partners.
  • The Asiana Club e-newsletter regularly notifies members of their mileage status, while providing Asiana news and event news.
  • To subscribe, please register your e-mail address at the website or an Asiana Club Service Center.
  • The miles that you earn are valid for ten years from the date of boarding or the date of accumulation

Magic Miles

This program is for children under 12. Miles can be earned by boarding on Asiana Airlines and its partner airlines and it can be used for purchasing bonus tickets.

Membership Guide

Magic Miles Members are automatically changed to Silver Members when the members turn 12.

The boarding performance of Magic Miles Members is not reflected in the Elite membership promotion, and a child is eligible for Elite membership promotion after acquiring Silver Membership (age 12).

Child discount ticket will earn 75% miles of adults’ passenger miles and when redeeming miles for flight awards or upgrade awards, 75% of miles will be deducted.
(However, even if you are a Magic Miles member, if you board an adult fare ticket, mileage will be accumulated based on the purchased ticket, and accrual is only possible after flights.)

There is no age limit for Asiana Club Members. Children under the age of 12 are classified as Magic Miles members.

Asiana Club has no registration fee or annual membership fee.

Gold
  • Asiana Club Gold Members are granted Star Alliance Silver Membership, and a number of special benefits are provided, including use of the exclusive check-in counter. Gold Members can accumulate miles whenever they board flights of Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance and use the services of partners including credit card companies, hotels and car rental services, and can use the miles for flight trips using Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance partners. The miles can also be used for services of Asiana Airlines partners, including theaters, resorts and online duty-free shops.

  • Qualification
  • If any of the following conditions have been met during the 24-month period starting from the base date
    • 1) 20,000 miles accrued on Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance flights
    • 2) 30 flights with Asiana Airlines
    • 3) 20,000 total miles accrued (with at least 15,000 miles should be earn by Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance flight mileage when combined with Asiana affiliate card records)
  • Eligibility Maintenance Requirements
  • If any of the following conditions have been met during the 24-month period from the base date
    • 1) 15,000 miles accrued on Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance flights
    • 2) 20 flights with Asiana Airlines
    • 3) 15,000 total miles accrued (with at least 10,000 miles should be earn by Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance flight mileage when combined with Asiana affiliate card records)
  • * Asiana Airlines flights operated by Air Busan(BX) and Air Seoul(RS) are eligible for mileage accrual and boarding counts for Elite Membership.
  • Base Date* :
    November 1 every even year for members who joined Asiana Club on or before September 30, 2008
    Date of subscription for members who joined Asiana Club on or after October 1, 2008
  • Qualification Period
    • Elite Membership is granted based on the number of flights and Asiana Affiliate Card records over the 24-month period from the base date.
    • If you satisfy the standard in the 24 months, early membership promotion is granted. The Elite membership status is maintained for the period of the early promotion and an additional 24 months.
    • When the eligibility maintenance period expires, the new membership class is determined by the number of flights taken and Asiana affiliate card records over the previous 24 months. The number of flights taken and Asiana affiliate card records during the early upgrade period are not included when evaluating membership eligibility.
    • * The number of flights boarded is based on the “boarding date” and Asiana affiliate card records are based on the “accrual date” when calculated in the membership eligibility evaluation. Elite Membership upgrade will be carried out the day after you meet the Elite Membership upgrade requirements.

  • Baggage of Gold Members is processed as a priority at the point of check-in, so Gold Members can promptly claim their baggage at the destination. This service is offered on Asiana Airlines flights only.
  • Additional Free Baggage Allowances
  • Gold Members can use the following additional free baggage allowances. This service is offered on Asiana Airlines flights only.
  • Priority for Waiting
  • Gold Members will have the first priority for unoccupied seats if being in a queue for ticketing. This benefit is not valid for international Flight Awards.
Special Benefits
  • Bonus Miles (5%) for Elite Members
  • Bonus miles are accumulated at the point of boarding an Asiana Airlines flights, but these are not reflected in the membership status review.
  • Bonus miles are accumulated only at the point of boarding flights operated by Asiana Airlines. Bonus miles are not accumulated when boarding codeshare flights or flights of other airlines due to abnormal flight operation.
  • Miles are also earned based on TPM if you board First Class or Business Class. You may earn miles for the Economy Class based on the reservation class.
  • Coupons for Lounge Use (2 Coupons)
  • This coupon is valid for the member, and a passenger accompanying the member and traveling on a regular flight of Asiana Airlines may use the lounge upon presenting an additional coupon.
  • The coupon for lounge use is valid for one year from the date of promotion.
Diamond
  • Asiana Club Diamond Members are granted Star Alliance Gold Membership, and a number of special benefits are provided, including use of the dedicated check-in counter, priority baggage processing and use of airport lounges of Star Alliance partners.   • Additional Free Baggage Allowances
  • Diamond Members can use the following additional free baggage allowances. When boarding a Star Alliance flight, the maximum weight may differ according to the policy of the individual Star Alliance airline
  • * When boarding economy class Gold benefits (One 9 kg piece free) Choice of benefits is available.
  • Lounge Use
  • A Diamond Member and one accompanying passenger may use Asiana Lounges and Star Alliance Lounges at home or abroad. However, all members and companions must have boarded the same flight for both Asiana Airlines routes and Star Alliance routes and companion must have traveled together, and present the Diamond Membership Card and the boarding pass of the Asiana Airlines flight or the Star Alliance flight when entering the lounge. The boarding pass of the Asiana Airlines flight or Star Alliance flight must be presented. Lounge service is not available at some airports.
  • Priority for Waiting
  • If a Diamond Member is waiting at the airport without making a reservation, a seat will be allocated as a priority. This benefit is not applicable to flight awards.

  • Provision of two discount coupons (mileage redemption coupons)
  • Following the date of being upgraded to 'Diamond Plus' member (lifetime membership), two discount coupons will be provided if accumulating 100,000 miles when using Asiana Airlines and Star Alliance or if boarding Asiana flights 100 times for every 24 months.
  • You have the option of redeeming 10,000 miles to issue award tickets for Asiana flights or getting a 50% discount for seat upgrades. It is not possible to transfer miles to others.
  • Award tickets can be issued from your own account by redeeming the miles you have earned or using the aggregated miles of family members.
  • Discount coupons are valid for one year from the date of membership upgrade.

  • Miles accumulated by boarding flights are valid from the date of boarding, and other miles are valid from the date of accumulation.
Platinum
